Terms and Conditions for Churntide

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Churntide website at https://churntide.com ("Website") and the services provided by Churntide ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of the Service

Churntide provides retention tooling for subscription businesses: embeddable cancellation flows, save offers, failed-payment recovery emails, win-back emails and related analytics. You integrate the Service into your own product; your customers interact with flows you configure.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your API keys and credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You agree not to use the Service to send unlawful or deceptive communications, to misrepresent offers to your customers, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service.

3. Your customers' data

To operate cancel flows and recovery emails, the Service processes data about your customers that you or your systems send us (such as name, email address, plan, subscription and invoice identifiers, and survey responses). You confirm you have the right to share this data with us and that you will honour the outcomes (discounts, pauses, cancellations) presented to your customers through the Service. We process this data only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy: https://churntide.com/privacy-policy

4. Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. New accounts include a 14-day free trial; no charge is made before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, effective at the end of the current billing period. If a payment fails we may suspend the Service after a reasonable retry period.

5. Stripe keys and third-party services

If you connect a restricted Stripe key, we use it solely to apply the outcomes you configure (coupons, pauses, plan changes, cancellations, billing-portal links). Keys are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect at any time, which deletes the stored key.

6. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Support is provided by email at support@churntide.com.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Churntide shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost revenue or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
