Privacy Policy for Churntide

This Privacy Policy describes how Churntide ("we", "us") collects and uses information when you use https://churntide.com and the Churntide service.

1. Data we collect from account holders

When you create an account we collect your name, email address and, for paid plans, billing information (processed by Stripe — we never store full card details). We also store the configuration you create (flows, offers, email templates) and, if you connect one, a restricted Stripe API key, encrypted at rest.

2. Data we process about your customers

To run cancel flows and payment-recovery emails on your behalf, we process data that you or your systems send us about your customers: identifiers (name, email, customer/subscription/invoice IDs), plan and billing amounts, survey answers and free-text feedback, and interaction events (offers shown and accepted, emails sent and clicked). We process this data solely to provide the service to you, and we act as a processor of it: it is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any other purpose.

3. Non-personal data

We use cookies strictly for authentication and session management on our own dashboard. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The embeddable widget on your site does not set cookies for your visitors.

4. How long we keep data

Account data is kept while your account is active. Session, feedback and recovery records are kept so your analytics remain accurate; you can delete them (or your whole account, including your customers' data) at any time from the dashboard or by emailing us. Disconnecting a Stripe key deletes it immediately.

5. Sub-processors

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the service: hosting, database, transactional email (Resend) and payments (Stripe). Each processes data only as needed to provide their function.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and sensitive credentials (such as Stripe keys) are encrypted at rest. API access is authenticated with hashed keys that can be revoked at any time.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time. If you are a customer of one of our account holders, the account holder controls your data — contact them, or email us and we will help route the request.

8. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders.
